• Inspect for leaks regularly: Check all seals, threaded connections, and the pump body for any water leakage, especially around the Rp (ISO 7/1) inlet/outlet threads. The pump uses an unbalanced O‑ring mechanical seal—ensure it's in good condition
• Keep the exterior clean: Wipe the pump housing with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid direct water contact on the motor housing, as this could compromise electrical components
• Prevent debris contamination: Since the impellers and chambers are stainless steel, and inlet/outlet parts are cast iron, use a pre-filter if water quality is questionable to minimize internal abrasion or clogging
• Ensure proper positioning: The pump is designed for horizontal installation with the motor supported; mounting it vertically or wrongly may lead to premature wear or imbalance
• Electrical safety checks: Verify the motor’s IP55 enclosure remains intact and clean. Ensure the insulation (Class F) and motor protections (PTO) are maintained. Disconnect power before maintenance.
• Watch for performance drop: If flow rate or head decreases from the nominal 1.7 m³/h and 18.29 m head, inspect and clean internally—especially the impellers or seal area—for blockages or wear.
• Annual professional servicing: Especially in critical applications (e.g. industrial, irrigation, HVAC), have a qualified technician inspect mechanical seals, bearings, and motor components once a year
